Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Admin & Accounting Manager to lead our corporate functions in Malaysia. This is a strategic role focused on strengthening our organizational foundation.
While we have dedicated accounting staff in place, we require a leader who can manage the team, enhance the accuracy of financial reporting, and transform our back-office operations into a highly efficient, scalable system.
- Management & Process Improvement: Supervise existing accounting staff, review financial reports (monthly/yearly closing), and implement streamlined workflows to improve departmental efficiency and data accuracy.
- Corporate Operation Design: Develop and standardize internal SOPs, company policies, and operational structures to ensure smooth business scaling.
- Human Resources & General Affairs: Oversee HR functions (recruitment, payroll, labor law compliance) and general affairs (contract management, office facilities, and vendor relations).
- Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with Company Secretaries and tax agents to ensure full compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements and corporate regulations.
- Reporting: Act as a bridge between the Malaysian office and the Japanese headquarters, providing regular management reports in both Japanese and English.
- Mandatory Experiences / Skills
- ・At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
・Language Proficiency: Business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and English is mandatory to facilitate communication between stakeholders.
・Experience: Proven experience in accounting, finance, or corporate administration at a managerial level. Experience in people management is essential.
・Skills: Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and labor laws. Ability to design and implement business processes from scratch.
・Qualifications (Preferred): Licensed Company Secretary or candidates with equivalent professional knowledge will be highly prioritized.
