(Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Chairman & CEO: Yoshimasa Yoshida), in collaboration with Takumi International Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), is proud to announce the upcoming Japanese traditional crafts and cultural experience fair "The Art of Japan" at SEIBU, located within TRX — Kuala Lumpur's largest mixed-use commercial complex.

The fair will be held from Friday, June 19 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the TRX SEIBU Event Hall (2nd Floor). A total of 15 Japanese companies from across Japan will participate, showcasing and selling over 50 carefully curated products spanning crafts, fashion, food, and beauty. In addition, four hands-on cultural experience events will be offered: earring making, yukata dressing, origami, and color coordination. Admission is free.

■ Fair Highlights

The fair brings together over 50 carefully selected products from 15 Japanese companies nationwide. Visitors can experience the skill and quality of artisans from across Japan firsthand — from fashion items that fuse Japanese and Malaysian cultures such as hijabs made from kimono fabric and yukata sets, to hand-forged knives crafted by master blacksmiths in Tosa, Kochi (making their Malaysia debut), glassware from Toyama, domestically made slippers with a 40-year history from Miyagi Prefecture, handcrafted vegan soaps, and authentic matcha from Uji, Kyoto.
